Anne's Card Therapy
I started paper crafting in 2009, guess you could call me a late bloomer. I started my blog nearly five years ago, but never got past the title. Although I love my profession, it left me little energy by days end. Still I managed to loose myself in a little paper therapy, from time to time. Now that I'm retired, I no longer halve an excuse for not sharing my love for this beloved craft.

Butterflies
I really enjoyed making this one, a combination of my stash. The background was made using Distress Inks. I used squeezed lemonade, shaded lilac, and spun sugar using the watercolor background technique. The butterfly stamp was cut out with a small border using the Brother SNC, and colored with Caran d'Ache Pablo colored pencils to match the background. The PTI sentiment was stamped in Versafine black ink, and the SU border element was stamped underneath with dusty concord distress ink. Lastly, I added a black frame and attached a SU whisper white card base prior to attaching the butterflies.

Stinkin' Cute
Background embossed with "Hero Arts Wood Grain" cover stamp on watercolor paper, and color washed with "Ranger Black Soot" distress ink. "Lil'Inker Instant Camera" stitched die used to highlight "Simon Says Stamp Stinkin' Cute" stamp. The adorable little skunk was colored with "Inktense" pencils. The sentiment used was from the same "Simon Says Stamp" stamp set.
